I leave tomorrow for New York City and I thought I would maybe try to document some of what I do this summer. As you probably know from reading my elaborate description, I will be at the Circle in the Square summer musical theatre intensive for seven weeks (ewwwwwwwww blogger thinks it has to be spelled "theater"), which is what I'm going to blog about. I'll write about any non-CITS-related adventures I have in New York as well. I plan to student rush zillions of shows and go to a lot of free events. (I'm on a weekly budget.) Also, I'm going to eat a lot of exotic takeout.
I'm staying in the apartment of a good family friend and I am sooo grateful that she is letting me crash on her couch! It's an easy 1-train subway ride to 50th St. and Broadway, where Circle in the Square is.
I'm not sure anyone would actually be interested in this blog--although any incarnation of myself between about 2002 (when I learned to read) and last week would obsessively read every post--so I'm sorry if I bore you with the mundane details of my life!
Right now, I'm like 20ish% packed. My mom and I did a ton of shopping today so now I have new walking shoes, solid dresses for the end performance, and super heavy books to pack. Stanislavski was incredibly wordy...
Ok, I should be doing laundry instead of blogging and/or trying to take selfies with the cats.
