Our Town at Green-Wood Cemetery

Yesterday Mom and I went to see Amanda, Rebecca's daughter, in Our Town at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. Appropriate location, no? And it is BEAUTIFUL. There is this amazing Gothic tower thing that is full of birds' nests. I had only read the play, so it was cool to see it performed for the first time. Amanda played Emily and she was fantastic! (She actually went to the Circle summer program, and gave me a lot of great advice about it.) We took the weirdest subway route, which involved end going one stop in the opposite direction from where we needed to be when we could have just stayed on the same train. Nice going, Google maps. As my father would say, never go north to go south!
